MSV launches petition campaign for Medicare payment reform

MSV has joined with the Texas Medical Association and over 40 other state medical societies in a coordinated effort to advocate for Medicare payment reform. The campaign includes an
online petition and an
office poster/patient handout that physicians can post in exam rooms, give to patients and share with friends and colleagues.
This effort follows MSV’s direct communication with Virginia’s congressional delegation both through
letters and personal visits explaining the critical need for a permanent fix to the flawed sustainable growth rate formula and an end to the temporary patches that congress continues to enact.
In addition to member communications, MSV will use social media such as
Facebook and
Twitter to promote the petition.
