CMS unveils plan for how doctors, hospitals can get EMR incentives

The federal government has issued two proposed rules outlining how physicians will qualify for health information technology incentive funds under Medicare and Medicaid. The American Medical Association has outlined the key provisions of the proposed rules in its Jan. 18 article "CMS unveils plan for how doctors, hospitals can get EMR incentives." MSV is reviewing the proposed regulations and will submit formal comment.
