The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have issued an alert about certain IV formulations of metronidazole, ondanestron, and ciprofloxacin sold under the following labels:
- Claris
- Sagent Pharmaceuticals
- Pfizer
- West-Ward Pharmaceuticals
Please read the alert below carefully and immediately remove from your pharmacy inventories any matching intravenous bags of these products. We expect more information forthcoming as the investigation continues.
